Stem cell biologist with over 15 years of experience in human iPSC research and disease modeling. Her group was the first in Hungary to generate human iPS cells, achieving internationally recognized results. She has deep expertise in stem cell–based differentiation into liver, neural, and cardiac cell types, as well as in multidrug transporter research relevant to drug development. She has extensive laboratory management experience in medical diagnostics, with specialization in laboratory design and quality systems. She is a certified Quality Management Lead Auditor (ISO9001, ISO15189, GLP/GMP). Dr. Erdei has also contributed to the authorization of Phase 1/2 human stem cell therapy clinical trials, including the development and implementation of regulatory-compliant protocols. She was awarded a postdoctoral OTKA research grant in 2019.
