Physician and former Director General of the Hungarian Medicines Agency (OGYÉI), with extensive experience in academia, pharmaceutical industry leadership, and regulatory affairs. He spent eight years as a university lecturer and researcher in Hungary and the United States, before transitioning to the pharmaceutical sector. Over the course of 18 years in the industry, he held senior roles in clinical trials and medical affairs, including eight years as Medical Director at one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, building a broad international network. As head of OGYÉI, he represented Hungary in national and European regulatory matters, including at the European Medicines Agency, and played a key role in coordinating vaccine approvals during the COVID-19 pandemic. In parallel with his professional roles, he continues to teach medical physiology in Hungarian, English, and German at multiple universities.
